I received this MegaChef electric tea kettle a few days ago. It's my first time with an electric one. It is small lightweight. I am delighted with how quickly it heats the water. The best thing is that it has several temperature settings. When it boils, it's a rolling, roiling boil. It will keep the water hot. When unplugged, the cord can be wrapped around the base. The only things I don't care for are the temperature settings are in Celcius rather than Fahrenheit, and there is a minimum amount of water needed - 1/2 liter (about 17 oz.). Well built and good quality kettle
I have used this few times and it works fine as advertised. Overall build quality looks great . I can't comment on the longevity as these type of kettles start heating as they lead to loose contacts and One problem with these kettles are they stop working after sometime as copper contacts get loose get coated. Maybe that is the reason they offer 3 months warranty, should at least have a year warranty. The flyer says warranty can be extended for a year for writing a review. __ (Anilkumar)
